Oh wow this is the first I'd heard or seen about book 2 - Vicious Deep has been on my reading list for awhile now,hoping I can get into it soon. This one sounds just as good, thanks for bringing it to my attention :D

I've never heard of this series, I guess it's about mermaids/-men? It sounds interesting in any case! I'll have to get into sea-creature books at some point next year...
