Book Synopsis:

Sienna Wolfe knows it’s going to be an interesting day when a man with golden skin and strange tattoos crashes in her backyard…and ends up tied to her bedposts. She likes her life just the way it is-simple, easy, relaxed. But when the gorgeous new alien in her life asks for help in an intergalactic war on a collision course with earth, she can’t say no…but she’ll soon wish she had.

Sienna struggles with her new, unpredictable world, which includes trying to protect earth from alien domination and dodging attempts on her life. And to make matters worse, her greatest enemy-who just so happens to happen to have annoyingly good looks - offers her a double-edged proposal to end the war. All she has to do is give up her freedom and turn her back on the love of her life.  Now it’s up to Sienna to pull off the impossible: save the world and - hopefully - live a little happily ever after.

Book Review:

A very sexy, engaging adventure of a book. I really loved this book’s fast pace and the love scenes for this book were just literally mouth watering hot. Not to mention that there was actually a war coming to the planet Earth and that it’s up to this Alien race to save us from another Alien race that wants to enslave us.

Yet, I felt that this book had so much action as well. Sometimes you couldn’t tell where the story was going. I really like having a story surprise me. The twists were so good and rich that you were like yes, ooh, that’s new. I really like how the main female character is not a shivering mess, but one who doesn’t take things lightly.

Sienna and Legian’s meet in a very unconventional way. Their meeting is not what you would call an ordinary meeting, but rather one that is an accident and what happens between Sienna and Legian as a result is something that neither of them expected. They found out they are soul mates. Which is really a rather unique thing. Plus Sienna and Legian have matching tattoos. Plus she finds herself now in a unique situation.

The situation is one that most people would think they are in a crazy nightmare, but Sienna embraces it and realizes that she is now a different person. Plus the time she has spent with Legian and his people have made her realize that the other race Draken intend to enslave humanity. Legian’s people have very distinct skills and knowledge, but the Draken are ruthless and will do everything in their power to control Earth and it’s population.

Yet there are so many turns and surprises in this book, I was like on a wild ride that I didn’t want to end. We find out that things at times can be a bit more complicated than we originally thought. The love scenes between the two main characters was well written and you can see these two beings are realistically portrayed or as real as one can expect when writing aliens. The aliens have very different notions of what love and mating is. Plus their notions of women is very progressive one might say. This made it so good.

I loved the way this book ended. I’m looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

  1. I am not into sci-ti. For some reason my imagination stops short when it gets too science-y. I am not really into aliens LOL however I envy people who can read and appreciate it. You included SW
